A new study has revealed that residents of India and other Asian countries like Hong Kong and Malaysia are least comfortable with public nudity on beaches.
Germans topped the list as 28 per cent of beach goers said that they have spent a day at the beach in the buff. This was the third consecutive time Germany was placed at the top but this time Austria was also there to accompany them, USA Today reported.
The most modest beach goers were from Asian region as only 2 per cent of Japanese, 3 per cent of South Korean and 4 per cent of Thai beach goers said they have sunbathed nude
The study, commissioned by the online travel agency, Expedia and conducted online by research firm Northstar, gauged the behaviours and preferences of 11,165 adults across 24 countries in five continents.
