Indo-Nepal Army Mountaineering Expedition Team climb Mount Everest

The Joint Indo-Nepal Army Mountaineering Expedition Team successfully climbed Mount Everest. According to the Nepal Army Directorate of Information, the first team of the Joint expedition reached the world's highest peak at nine local time this morning.

From the Indian army five, including Major R. M Jamwal , Mingmamagar Gurung, Sudhir Singh, Chhatar Singh and Sukvir, have reached the summit. Form the Nepal Army five of the team members have also sumitted.

The thirty four member expedition team has been in Base camp area of the Mount Everest since the 11th of last month and has also been involved in a cleaning campaign.

They are also to participate in the Everest marathon on the 29th of this month. According to Tourism Offical ,Tilak Pandey there has been a number of attempts on the summit today. With the weather being clear there has been a number of climbers reaching the summit. Spring is the busiest time for climbing.
