The Islamic State (IS) has threatened to launch attacks in London and Paris through a shocking new social media post, saying that they will blow up the Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower.
A prominent IS extremist called Abu Abdullah Britani, who is understood to be British jihadi Abu Rahin Aziz, 32, tweeted that they would destruct the Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower, Daily Star reported.
The British jihadi who is said to have flouted the social media ban before, expressing his desire to turn Buckingham Palace into a mosque, tweeted soon after IS spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnan released an audio for jihadis to destroy famous buildings including the White House.
A spokesman for the Global Vigilance group, working to destroy the extremists' online recruitment ring asked not to curb their online activities as it allows them to monitor IS and gather intelligence.
