Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said the motive to establish the iCreate centre was to provide maximum benefit to the Indian youths from Israel's experience and their startup environment.

The Prime Minister, while addressing an event at the iCreate centre here, said that Israel has been influencing the world with its technology and creativity and expressed confidence that the Indian youths would also make a mark in the world in the field of innovation.

"When I launched iCreate a few years ago, I said I want to link it with Israel. My motive was that this institution and our youths are benefited by Israel's experience and their start-up environment", Prime Minister Modi said.

"Israel has proved it to the world that commitment of the people, and not the size of the nation, takes the country forward", he added.

He said that the Centre is making efforts to make the entire system in the country innovation-friendly, which would, in the end, lead to the formation of a 'New India'.

"Never stop dreaming and never let the dreams die. It is good for children to have high curiosity quotient", he continued.

The Prime Minister also remembered Prof. N V Vasani for his contributions to the iCreate centre.
