Officials from the Income Tax department are conducting survey operations at Jet Airways' offices in Mumbai and Delhi, sources said on Wednesday.
Four premises have been covered in this survey, which started on Wednesday. The tax department is probing the airline for Verification of Expenses.
The survey operation, being conducted by tax officials, is taking place under Section 133A of the IT Act at the airline's Andheri and Nariman Point offices in Mumbai to collect evidence related to financial irregularities, if any, the sources stated.
