IT raid at ABIL founder's offices, residence

The Income Tax Department (ITD) on Friday raided the residence and offices of Avinash Bhosale, Founder of ABIL Group.

A real-estate developer and hotelier, Bhosale was reportedly under the scanner for fraudulent activities earlier as well, after an FIR was lodged against him.

According to sources, Bhosale is believed to be closely linked with the ministers of the earlier Congress-NCP government of Maharashtra.

ITD officials conducted raids in 23 premises and residences of Bhosale in Pune and Mumbai.
