After running for eight years, the daily soap 'Balika Vadhu' is all set to come to an end as the final schedule has been wrapped up.
Dishank Arora, who played Shivam, today shared a snap with Mahi Vij, who portrayed Nandini, and wrote alongside, "Last day last shot & It's a wrap with @VijMahhi @ColorsTV #Balikavadhu"
The show, which grabbed eyeballs for many years due to its subject, has also made it to the Limca Book of Records.
It started with the life story of Anandi and Jagdish, who were married to each other when they were children.
As a continuation, the second season portrayed the life of Nandini aka Nimboli (Anandi's daughter), who was also a victim of child marriage and later grew up to become a seasoned doctor.
'Balika Vadhu' is about to go off-air from July 31.
