World number one Serena Williams trounced her unseeded American opponent Madison Keys in straight sets to set up a clash against arch-rival Maria Sharapova in the Australian Open final in Melbourne.
The 18-time grand slam champion secured a 7-6, 6-2 victory over Madison to advance to the final round of the first grand slam of the year.
Earlier in the day, Russian second seed Maria Sharapova crushed compatriot Ekaterina Makarova with a 6-3, 6-2 win in 87 minutes to progress into the final round.
Currently, Serena leads Sharapova 16-2 in their head to head matches.
