At least three people were killed and 67 others wounded in an explosion on the Bologna highway of Italy.
The incident occurred when a gas tanker truck exploded, reported CNN.
According to the police, the explosion took place at Bologna Casalecchio and the junction with the A14 route from Bologna to Taranto.
CNN quoted a spokesman for the local health agency Marco Granna as saying that around 55 people were taken to the hospital for treatment of first-, second- and third-degree burns.
Two police officers were also reportedly injured in the explosion.
Police have warned public against going near the area of the explosion.
