The Academy Awards for the second year in a row has nominated only white actors and it has annoyed Jada Pinkett Smith.
The 44-year-old actress took to social networking sites Facebook and Twitter to air her feeling and even said that she might consider boycotting the award show, reports news.com.au.
Pinkett Smith wrote in her post, "At the Oscars, people of colour are always welcomed to give out awards, even entertain, but we are rarely recognised for our artistic accomplishments. Should people of colour refrain from participating all together?"
"People can only treat us in the way in which we allow. With much respect in the midst of deep disappointment," the 'Magic Mike XXL' star's post further read.
When the nominations were announced snubbing Will Smith, Idris Elba and Samuel L. Jackson, there was an immediate backlash on Twitter. Objectors used the hashtag #OscarsSoWhite.
