Janata Dal-United (JD-U) president, Sharad Yadav on Wednesday criticised those who raised questions on BJP leader Smriti Irani 's educational qualifications for discharging her role as Human Resource Development (HRD) minister.
"It is totally wrong and I condemn it. With education one cannot understand the nuances of politics. Questions should not be raised about her ability to discharge her duty as HRD minister using her educational qualifications. One must judge through Smriti Irani's work," Yadav said.
Congress leader Ajay Maken had stated that the Union Human Resource Development minister Smriti Irani was 'not even a graduate'. He tweeted on social networking site twitter saying, "What a Cabinet of Modi? HRD Minister (Looking after Education) Smriti Irani is not even a graduate! Look at her affidavit at ECI site pg 11.
