Jermaine Jackson has claimed that if it wasn't for their family group the Jackson 5, there wouldn't be any Michael Jackson.

While speaking to TMZ.com, the 59-year-old bass guitarist said that people need to know that the late pop star had started with the music group, which gave him a launch pad.

People always blame the family as they think the family is after money, but we work and have made money, he added.

Formed in 1964, the Jackson 5 consisted of King of Pop, Michael Jackson along with brothers Marlon Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jackie Jackson and Jermaine Jackson.
