Two Naxalites from the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were killed in an encounter by joint security forces on Friday in Jharkhand.
"We got information relating to 15-20 Naxalites who were located in Adki, on 27th August. After that we formed a combine search operation with CRPF and the Jharkhand Jaguar and surrounded these people," Khunti Superintendent of Police, Anees Gupta said.
A regular AK-47, bold action gun and other ammunition were found along with some mobile phones and SIM cards.
"The search operation is still on and we expect to find more Naxalites," added Gupta.
