JK Rowling has confessed that once she almost took a baby girl from a cot on her visit to a state run care home.
According to a UK website, the 'Harry Potter' author claimed that she is an emotional person and on seeing that little girl, her maternal instincts kicked in powerfully, the Daily Express reported.
Rowling said that she felt like saving that one baby, even though she knew that there was no way she could take the baby home.
