JK Simmons wins Best Supporting Oscar for 'Whiplash'
JK Simmons has won the Best Supporting Actor at the 2015 Oscars for his role in 'Whiplash'.
The 60-year-old actor nabbed the award after beating the likes of Robert Duvall for 'The Judge', Ethan Hawke for 'Boyhood', Edward Norton for 'Birdman' and Mark Ruffalo for 'Foxcatcher'.
The 87th Academy Awards are currently being held at Dolby Theatre in London.
