Joan Rivers' friend Deborah Norville has shared the last days of the late comedienne.
Norville told ABC News in an interview that there was every reason to hope that this would be a different outcome because the TV host was so vibrant because Rivers' mind was so sharp.
She said that the actress' friends were her other family and her daughter Melissa made sure that they were not only there for her but that they were available for Rivers as well .
The 'Inside Edition' anchor said that the late 81-year-old TV host just used to talk about the stupid stuff of life and just make jokes, because she wouldn't want one to be sappy.
