John Legend, who is expecting a baby girl with Chrissy Teigen sometime soon, has recently revealed his refreshing approach to parenthood.
In a recent interview, the 37-year-old singer said that he feels that he has an open mentality and is ready to help his family whatever way he can, adding that he wants to be as loving to his wife and to his daughter as much as possible, E! Online reports.
"I don't know how you can be ready. We're focused on getting the house ready because we just moved into a new place. But you know, you don't really know how it's going to go until it happens," he said.
Talking about his role as a parent after the baby's birth, the 'All of Me' hit-maker said that he will take a "paternity leave."
Legend and Teigen, who tied the knot on September 14, 2013, announced in October that they were expecting their first child.
