Justin Bieber was only joking when he announced his retirement, it has been revealed.
Allison Kaye, general manager of Scooter Braun Projects released a statement to the Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy blog saying that the 19-year-old singer felt that it was the best way to respond to the latest inaccurate media reports about him, Contactmusic reported.
She further wrote that the 'Baby' hitmaker chose to channel his frustration into playing along with this baseless rumour and even used the word "beloved" to tip off his fans that it wasn't real.
Kaye said that however within 20 minutes, Bieber realized that fans had got confused by the media reports and clarified that he was kidding.
