Justin Lin's third installment of Star Trek is called 'Star Trek Beyond'

Justin Lin unveiled the title of his third installment in the rebooted Star Trek series as 'Star Trek Beyond.'

The filmmaker took to Twitter and shared a close-up image of Enterprise crew uniform patch captioning it, "Let the next Starfleet voyage begin!" along with hashtags "#StarTrekBeyond" and "#LLAP," reported E! Online.

Paramount then confirmed it on Facebook writing, "JUST ANNOUNCED #StarTrekBeyond."

The filming of the Lin directed and J.J. Abrams-produced franchise has already begun in Vancouver, and is scheduled to hit theaters in July 2016.
