Kanye West released from hospital one week after admission

Kanye West, who was admitted to a hospital for exhaustion last week, is now at home with his wife and kids.

The 39-year-old rapper reunited with his family after leaving 'UCLA Medical Center' under the care of wife Kim Kardashian, and his personal physician, Dr. Michael Farzam who called 911 the day the singer was admitted, reports TMZ.

Reportedly, the 'Fade' rapper suffered what people close to him say was a "nervous breakdown" triggered in large part by the anniversary of his mother's funeral.

Just hours after the surprise cancellation of the rest of his 'Saint Pablo' tour, the Grammy-winning rapper was taken to the medical center for evaluation after suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

A source told E! Online, "Kanye is doing better" and that West's "mental exhaustion" was taking a toll.

"He almost quit a few times during tour, including right after the robbery," the insider added.

Meanwhile, Kardashian West has been by his side at the hospital since the hospitalisation.
