Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashutosh on Thursday said the situation in Bihar will not change whether Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal does U-turn or Left-turn, and added that people with vested interests are only spreading rumours about him.
"People are spreading rumours on Arvind Kejriwal, but it will never be proved. You can call it a U-turn, F-turn, Y-turn, Left-turn or Right-turn. I don't think the situation of Bihar will be going to change on that. We are only telling the people of Bihar that the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre is not letting the AAP government work in Delhi, which has got a mandate from the people," Ashutosh told ANI here.
"The way Bihar politics is going forward, the defeat of BJP is imminent. I want to say that Nitish Kumar is very strong in Bihar along with his alliance," he added.
Kejriwal on Thursday rubbished media reports that said he was not supporting any political party in Bihar and categorically said he was backing Nitish Kumar.
Kejriwal was earlier quoted as saying at the Chief Ministers' conclave that he did not support any political party in the Bihar Assembly polls and had visited the state only for a governance workshop.
"I am not supporting anyone in Bihar. There was a governance workshop that was organised by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar before the elections were announced. I had gone for that workshop and I am not campaigning for any political party in Bihar," Kejriwal had said at the conclave that was organised to discuss issues related to co-operative federalism.
