Kejriwal to take oath as Delhi CM at 2 p.m. tomorrow

Delhi chief minister designate Arvind Kejriwal, who led his party to a historic win in the assembly polls, will be taking oath at the Ramlila Maidan here at 2 p.m. tomorrow.

The Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured 67 out of the 70 seats.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be attending the oath-taking ceremony due to some prior commitments.

The preparations at Ramlila Maidan for Kejriwal's swearing-in ceremony are underway. Seating arrangements for nearly 40,000 people have been made.

Security has also been beefed up in and around the venue along with the installation of 40 CCTV cameras.

It is being reported that the first Cabinet meeting will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the Delhi Secretariat on Saturday.

It is being reported that a list of Cabinet Ministers has been forwarded to the Lieutenant Governor.

Manish Sisodia Gopal Rai, Badana Kumari, Jitendra Tomar, Sandeep Kumar, Saryendra Jain and Asim Ahmed are likely to be included.
