Kerry Washington 'not bothered' by lesbian rumours

Kerry Washington has confessed that the rumours surrounding her sexuality doesn't bother her at all, as there is no reason to get offended by them.

The 'Django Unchainned' star, who recently tied the knot with Nnamdi Asomugha, told The Advocate that it is interesting how much people long to fill in the gaps when someone in the public eye doesn't share their personal life, People Magazine reported.

Washington said that she understands people's frustration and likes how they post pictures of her with other woman, while trying to prove that she is gay.

The 36-year-old actress added that she wonders if people are so uncomfortable with love between two people of the same gender that they immediately label it as sexual.
