The assembly in Pakistan's Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province has unanimously passed a joint resolution demanding the immediate hanging of former Indian naval officer and alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.
According to the Express Tribune, the resolution was moved by the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and signed by lawmakers of all parties.
The resolution asked that when Jadhav has confessed to all the allegations against him and sentenced to death, why his execution was being delayed.
It urged the federal government to carry out his death sentence immediately so that other countries or individuals avoid carrying out such shameful, intolerable and unforgivable acts against Pakistan in the future.
