Looks like the long wait will soon be over for the fans of Kim Kardashian, who has been pictured flying out of Los Angeles ahead of her first public appearance since her robbery ordeal.

The 36-year-old star and mother-of-two, who was held at gunpoint in her apartment during 'Paris Fashion Week', is set to walk the red carpet at Denise Rich's 'Angel Ball' in New York, reports mirror.co.uk.

"She is expected to appear," an insider disclosed.

Another source added that last week people were working on "convincing" her to come.

"She would join the family on stage to accept the award, but who knows if she will speak for the family," the source informed.

Pictures published by the Daily Mail show the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star climbing onboard a flight in California, just hours after her husband Kanye West cancelled a concert in LA following an onstage meltdown.

West has since scrapped a number of dates on his 'Saint Pablo' tour.

Reportedly, Kardashian will join her brother Rob Kardashian and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, along with their mother Kris Jenner at the event, where the family will honour her late father, Robert Kardashian.
