Kuwait is keen on bolstering relations with India, Kuwaiti Ambassador, Sami AlSulaiman, to the south Asian country has said.
The remarks by AlSulaiman were made during his meeting with the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Prithviraj Chavan, in Mumbai.
According to Gulf News, the meeting was attended by Principal Secretary of the Maharashtra Government Swadheen S. Kshatriya, Home Secretary Amitabh Rajan, and Secretary to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ashish Kumar Singh.
Al Sulaiman expressed Kuwait's pride in their ages-long relationship with the Indian city.
Along with expressing keenness to bolster relations with Indian states, he also gave a proposal to the Indian officials to help encourage cooperation in several areas, the report added.
