Looks like trouble is surfacing Lee Daniels as a woman has filed a lawsuit against the creator of 'Empire' for 300 million dollars claiming that he lifted her life story.
In the lawsuit, Sophia Eggleston claims that she embodies the 'Cookie' character in almost every important respect, including a penchant for wearing mink, and she did time for putting a hit on someone just like the character, reported TMZ.com.
Further, Eggleston claims that she gave a copy of an autobiography to a screenwriter back in 2011 and months later the screenwriter had called her to say that she was pitching the book to Lee Daniels.
