Letv, China's leading internet conglomerate is expanding its e-commerce business in India with its launch of 'LeMall.com' November 15, 2015.
CEO, Letv, Jia Yueting said that the company's plans to enter into the Indian market as it sees lot of opportunities to grow.
The launch of the website is Letv's first and crucial step in making foray into India. The company displayed on its homepage "Namaste India" (Hello India), along with the Facebook post about guessing the launch date of Letv Superphone.
The page is also connected with LeMe Community where the company interacts with its fans in the United States and India who they called "LeMe" (fans of Letv).
So far, LeMall.com has been available in China, Hong Kong, US and India. Internet reports show that LeMall is ranked among the top three B2C e-commerce websites in China, following Tmall.com and JD.com.
