Liam Neeson has rebuffed reports that he came to a stray dog's rescue after he saw the animal being targeted by three thugs in NYC by stones.
The well known animal lover was rumored to have got into a verbal fight with teenage boys, who initially paid no heed to his warnings and continued pelting the dog even after he told them to quit it, the Mirror reported.
Speculations were rife that the 61-year-old actor had comforted the dog after managing to get the boys to back off.
However, the 'Taken' star's agent has confirmed that the story is false and no such thing happened.
