The man, who was involved in Lil Wayne's tour bus shooting, recently has been sentenced to 20 year.

Jimmy Carlton Winfrey will serve 10 years in jail and an additional 10 years on probation upon his release, TMZ.com reports.

In the court, Winfrey pled guilty to six of the 27 counts against him.

It is being said that the rapper used a cellphone after the shooting, which was owned by Birdman, who is being sued by Wayne over a Cash Money dispute.

Previously, Jimmy Carlton had opened a fire on the 33-year-old rapper's tour bus following his performance in an Atlanta nightclub.
