Lindsay Lohan's lawsuit against the Fox News channel for defamation has been dismissed by a judge.
Earlier, in February, the 29-year-old actress along with her mother Dina filed a court case against the channel, talk show host Sean Hannity, and TV personality Michelle Fields for their comments related to the star and her mother's drug use, the Daily Mail reports.
In a statement, the 'Mean Girls' actress' attorney Mark Jay Heller said, "Fields falsely, inappropriately, and shockingly stated, unequivocally and as a 'matter of fact' that Lohan's mother is doing cocaine with her."
However, the judge has ended Lohan's defamation case, stating that "truth is a defense", adding that the remarks made on the talk show were not malicious.
