At least 26 students in a government school in Narela fell ill allegedly after consuming mid-day meal.
The Haryana police said that prima facie they fell ill after they ate the food provided by the school authorities. Investigations are underway.
It is alleged that a dead lizard was the reason of illness.
Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, "The kitchen staff have been called for a meeting which will be led by the education department. It is the second time that lizard has been found in the food. The kitchen officials have been warned on the issue."
Similar cases were reported from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
