The Calangute Police on Sunday arrested a man possessing drugs worth Rs. 7,000.
Surender Singh, 23, and a native of Haryana was arrested for possession of 39 grams of weed, reportedly worth Rs. 7,000 in the International market.
The police caught the accused while patrolling near the Bandodkar statue. After a thorough interrogation, Singh revealed that he was planning to sell the drugs. He revealed the names of his clients, with subsequent raids in that area.
