Man protest during PM's speech at Waqf function

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who inaugurated the National Waqf Development Corporation Limited on Wednesday, faced protest from a man who claimed that people are not benefitting from government run schemes.

The man identified as M Faheem Baig started shouting as soon as Dr. Singh concluded his speech after launching the NAWADCO.

Baig claimed that no one has got any benefit existing schemes of the government.

"There is no need for a new scheme when government cannot ensure the implementation of the existing welfare schemes," he said before being escorted out by the security officials.
