Jay Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean are being sued by a man who claims that the trio stole his song.
The man named Joel Mac has asserted that he was peddling his CD's outside the Mercer Hotel in SoHo a few years back, where the singers were staying at the time and recording Jay Z's 'Watch the Throne' album, TMZ.com reported.
Mac has stated in the federal lawsuit that one of his CD's was bought by a guy named Mike Dean, who was one of the producers of the album, and it turned out that Beyonce's hubby's 'Made in America' was actually very similar to the same titled song he had on his CD.
Mac had filed a similar case in New York State court a few months ago as well, however he has now gone federal and wants the trio to pay him a cut of the profits.
