Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Policegiri' was premiered in the presence of Manayata Dutt and the entire cast and crew in Mumbai.

It was a paid premiere and the receipts of it were given to the Prime Minister's relief fund for Uttarakhand flood victims on Dutt's suggestion.

The film is hitting high on sympathy votes as the actor completed it in the last few days before surrendering.

Interacting with media persons, Manayata looked somewhat disturbed and urged Sanjay's fans to watch the film.

"The producers have done what ever they can for the film. Off course the absence of its lead actor has affected the promotions of the film but I think if Sanjay's fans would like to see the film they will definitely come to watch it," Mrs. Dutt stated.

Manayata even got nostalgic on the event and remembered the last few days of Dutt's shooting.

"I like the film it's a Masala film, total entertainer and there are some scenes in the movie which I know were shot at the time when Sanju was very disturbed mentally. When he was given the two months extension. So I know some scenes, which he shot at the last moment and I actually feel towards them," Manayata said.

"He shot two songs with Prachi, one was Robinhood and another was a romantic song. So when I saw them I felt that how can some one do this at such a stressful time, and it made me a bit emotional but then I know Saju is very strong so," she added.
