Mary Tyler Moore has been left nearly blind from her years-long battle against diabetes, it has been revealed.
The 77-year-old actress' former co-star Betty White told Closer Weekly magazine that Moore's eyesight was a big problem right now and she was now almost beyond the point of being able to see, the New York Post reported.
Legendary funnyman Dick Van Dyke, who played Moore's husband on "The Dick Van Dyke Show" asserted that he did not see her often, but he talked to her a bunch and the actress hasn't been too well.
Valerie Harper, her co-star from the 'Mary Tyler Moore Show' said that though the diabetes had caused immense harm to her body, the American actress stayed healthy.
Moore was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 33, and has been largely out of public view for the past two years fighting the disease.
