BSP chief Mayawati on Sunday lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that the central government has not fulfilled even one fourth of its poll promises made during 2014 Lok sabha elections.
She also attacked the state government led by Akhilesh Yadav describing it as a government of goons and mafias.
Addressing a rally of party workers organised to commemorate the tenth death anniversary of Kanshi Ram in Lucknow, Mayawati levelled charges of biased attitude on central government towards religious minorities and Dalits.
Asserting that atrocities on Dalits and Muslims are rampant in the states led by BJP, she called upon the gathering to bring BSP government in 2017 elections, which she termed will be real tribute to Kanshiram.
Rejecting any possibility of pre or post poll alliance with any party, Mayawati said that there will be no such thing during forth coming elections of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab.
She further said that BSP will go alone in the forthcoming elections and accused BJP of taking political advantage of the recent happenings on India Pakistan border saying that all the credit goes to the army and our brave soldiers.
Addressing her supporters in the mega rally organised today to commemorate the tenth death anniversary of Dalit icon Kanshiram, she said that if brought t power, she will not build memorials but would focus on overall development of the state.
Criticising Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mayawati stated that due to his affection towards his son, the SP has been divided into camps of Akhilesh and Shivpal, which were trying to defeat each other's candidates.
