Rory McIlroy has been voted the PGA Tour Player of the Year for a second time after winning two majors in 2014.
According to the BBC, the 25-year-old world number one from Northern Ireland won three consecutive tournaments, starting with his first Open title at Hoylake in July.
McIlroy won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational before clinching a second US PGA success at Valhalla.
He topped the vote of tour members including Billy Horschel, Martin Kaymer, Jimmy Walker and Bubba Watson.
Puerto Rico Open winner Chesson Hadley took the Rookie of the Year award with Victor Dubuisson and Brooks Koepka missing out.
PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem congratulated both Rory and Chesson for their outstanding accomplishments that earned them season-ending honours from their peers.
McIlroy, who won the Jack Nicklaus Award for the first time in 2012, set a tour record of 12 top-10 finishes and he did not finish outside the top 25 from his 17 starts.
He also won the Arnold Palmer Award as the tour's leading official money winner (£5,107,526.28 ) and the Bryon Nelson Award for adjusted scoring average (68.83).
