A pint of beer was recently sent into the space, attached to a helium weather ballon, by a couple in England, it has been reported.
Ros Bangs sent the glass of 'London Pride' into the stratosphere to an incredible 80,000ft and peaked at 24km above her White Swan pub in Whitchurch, Bucks, which she runs with husband, the Daily Star reported.
During its hour-long climb the beer, in a plastic glass with cling film on the top, simultaneously boiled and froze. The balloon eventually popped and the pint was sent tumbling back to earth.
Bangs said that it's always been a dream of her to become the first barmaid in space.
They are sick of places in theirarea being turned into "gastro-pubs," so now they can safely say that they are the only "astro-pub" in the world, she further added.
