Melanie Brown has accused an enemy of making false accusations to the police about her husband Stephen Belafonte "helding her hostage."
The 39-year-old singer said that someone is trying to wreck her marriage as police are investigating an allegation of false imprisonment against Belafonte after claims he held his wife hostage at their London home, just hours before she was taken to hospital with crippling stomach pains, the Mirror reported.
A spokesperson said that the former Spice Girl did not make these allegations and is adamant they are totally untrue. She will be telling the police they are completely false.
A source added that Brown is absolutely livid and the allegations are completely false and she has no idea why somebody would want to do this.
The insider continued that Brown can only assume someone is determined to wreck her marriage, but she won't let them.
