Mel B 'walks out' on hubby Stephen Belafonte post series of blazing rows

Melanie Brown has split from her husband of 7 years, Stephen Belafonte, following "a number" of recent massive rows, it has been revealed.

According to a source, the former Spice Girl's marriage has reached crisis point - in fact it's on life support and she has told friends it is over with Belafonte, the Daily Express reported.

The source added that it was a very symbolic gesture when the 39-year-old singer, who knew what she was doing and wanted to send Belafonte a clear message about her feelings, removed her wedding ring before appearing on 'The X' Factor final recently.

The insider continued that the 'X Factor' judge hasn't spoken to Belafonte once since her recent admission to hospital and as it stands she doesn't want to see him because he didn't come to the hospital at all, which is a very sad state of affairs, given she could have died.

They added that everyone around Brown is encouraging her to stay strong and to leave him for good this time because they don't believe their relationship is healthy.
