Meryl Streep has started learning guitar for Diablo Cody's new movie 'Ricki and the Flash', it has been revealed.
The 'Juno' screenwriter told the Hollywood Reporter that the reason they had not shot the movie yet was that Streep had been learning to play guitar.
The movie is about struggling rocker who attempts to reconcile with her neglected kids, one of whom is played by Streep's real-life daughter, Mamie Gummer
Filming will begin from October 1 in New York, where Cody's two children with Maurio, now 2 and 4, will accompany her to the set.
