Michael Bay not to helm next 'Transformers'

Michael Bay, who has directed the entire franchise of 'Transformers', may not direct the next sequel of the movie, it has been revealed.

In an interview with USA Today, the 49-year-old actor said that there was kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies he wanted to make, the Verge reported.

The American filmmaker said that he had a lot of stories to tell.

Bay's has been directing the 'Transformers' series since 2007.
