Oscar-winning film-maker Michael Moore recently announced that he would bring a surprise documentary called 'Michael Moore in Trumpland' to the big screen.
With an initial New York screening, where tickets will be free, the film will then be officially released on 19 October, reports the Guardian.
The official description of the documentary reads, "See the film Ohio Republicans tried to shut down. Oscar-winner Michael Moore dives right into hostile territory with his daring and hilarious one-man show, deep in the heart of TrumpLand in the weeks before the 2016 election."
The 62-year-old film-maker also recently took to his Twitter handle to announce the free screening.
"Hey NYC- Who wants a peek @ what I've been up 2? Tues, 9:30pm, IFC Center. TIx free, 1st come, b.o. opens 8:30pm," he tweeted.
Earlier last month, Moore had shared on social media that he was banned from performing and filming the show at a theater in Ohio.
"It always amazes me when people choose to just outright lie instead of simply admitting the truth and then being proud of their decision," he wrote then.
"I'm sure the good people who run this theater are not, in their hearts, proud of what they've done and were certainly hoping their little act of censorship wouldn't be known by anyone. They probably didn't think we'd bother to out them so publicly. That's how small towns get away with stuff like this. And if you grew up in one of these places, you know what I'm talking about," he added.
