Microsoft is reportedly planning to launch Office for iPad before July this year.
Speculations were rife that the software giant was working on Office for iPhone and iPad a while back, but Microsoft unveiled only the iPhone version, leaving tablet users with the option of Office Web Apps to tab.
According to the Verge, development on Office for iPad has both continued and been sped up in order to bring it to market fairly soon
It is reported that the new timeline on Office for iPad may be released before the shipment of Microsoft's first version of a touch-centric Office for Windows 8.
