Microsoft is reportedly developing a new smartphone chat app on iphone, called "Flow" that would work as a complement for its Outlook inbox app.
According to details available, "Flow" would offer "fast, fluid, natural conversations," with "no subject lines, salutations, or signatures," and would apparently allow for quick communication with email contacts outside of your regular email inbox.
The details of the app were found by a twitter user on a download page marked 'Microsoft confidential', The Verge reports.
Flow, would be faster to use than Outlook email and would provide Microsoft, an entry point in the overcrowded chat app market.
If the details are true and Microsoft would launch the app on iphone first, it would be very interesting as Microsoft's recent email efforts have not been great on Apple's operating system.
