Microsoft has announced that it will launch Visual Studio 2015 (VS 2015), the latest version of its integrated development environment, on July 20.
According to the Techcrunch.com, the latest version includes cross-platform development with support for targeting Windows, iOS and Android, through its support for the Apache Cordova project and Xamarin's app development platform.
VS 2015 also includes support for extensions, new diagnostic and debugging tools, an emulator for Android developers, built-in support for Application Insights and various user interface and performance tweaks.
In addition, Microsoft partnered to enhance built-in support for game development with the Unity, Epic Games and Chukong Technologies.
Visual Studio 2015 will come in two subscriptions, which are Enterprise and Pro. Microsoft will also offer a non-subscription version of Visual Studio Professional for USD 499.
