Miley Cyrus has been criticized risks facing a public backlash after making a 'cruel stroke-joke' on Saturday Night Live.
The 20-year old daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus had joked that the reason she is constantly sticking her tongue out is because she "keeps having mini-strokes", the Mirror reported.
Though the live studio audience received her remark with mild laughter, viewers weren't impressed and took to Twitter to express their outrage as some tweeted, "You and your writers should read about strokes before joking about it".
Another viewer tweeted, "That 'stroke joke' was a cruel thing for Miley to say in front of millions of people".
