The 22-year-old singer came forward to help musician Linda Perry to auction a piano at the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Vanguard Awards gala, E! Online reports.
The winning bidder model Ruby Rose took home the white piano that was donated to the center by Orange for 50,000 dollar.
Notably, later Cyrus was honored with the Vanguard Award by Center staffers and members of her Happy Hippy Foundation.
